Get Into Health and Social Care Work

Our Cardiff Cares Academy runs this beginner’s course every 2 weeks. 

The Get Into Health and Social Care Work course can offer you: 

  • career preparation and signposting,  
  • mental health and dementia awareness building, 
  • first aid and food safety training, 
  • insights into safeguarding of vulnerable adults, and 
  • informative sessions on working in the Care Sector.

Accreditations: 

  • Care: Level 2 
  • Emergency First Aid: Level 3 
  • Food Safety: Level 3 
  • All Wales Manual Handling Passport: Level 3 
  • Insight to Care 
  • Safeguarding in Health and Social Care

  • Get Into Care awareness package 

Length of the course 

This course lasts 5 days, running from Monday to Friday.
