About the course

This qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering.

The total qualification time for this qualification is 7 hours, all of which are recommended as guided learning hours. Cardiff Council note: We are typically able to complete this in 6 hours.

Learners gaining this qualification will know that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking service and handling of food.
